San Ferriol is a 12th century monastery, a Romanesque monument with excellent views to the high Pyrenees on one side and the coast on the other.s It is an ideal place to stop and revel in the views or have a picnic lunch.  On your return you will pass the spring known as ´Planesas,´ a mysterious place with the reputation of having the most refreshing water in the region.  It is a lovely walk where you will appreciate the variation in the scenery.
